Naturemade Compost
NatureMade Compost™ meets the federal government CCME (Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment) standards as Category “A” compost which can be used in any application. It is also certified to the federally endorsed EcoLogo TM program. NatureMade Compost™ consists of organic materials such as, yard waste, wood chips, food waste, and bio-solids. It has higher nutrient levels than peat moss, and is a perfect product for applying to existing soil. NatureMade Compost™ has been processed at temperatures about of 55 0C, so it is virtually free of weed seeds.This product is also an excellent source of organic matter, and works well in wide spectrum of soils.
For Clay Soil – When NatureMade Compost™ is mixed into clay soil, it will greatly improve organic matter level, aeration, and porosity. This reduces compaction of soil, and eventually enhances soil texture. This makes your soil very workable.
For Sandy Soil – NatureMade Compost™ holds at least 100% of its weight in water, while sandy soils generally hold only 25% of their weight in water. Thus, sandy soils retain more moisture when NatureMade Compost™ is added, and this will give plants a better chance for survival during the dry season. NatureMade Compost™ also helps increase the organic matter level, and provides a good level of slow release nutrients.
Use & Application
Lawn – Topdress established lawns with ¼ - ½ inches (0.625-1.25 cm) layer, and water well, or/and after power raking / aerating in Spring topdress lawn. To prepare for a new lawn, till 2 inches of NatureMade™ into the topsoil.
Garden – Apply 2-3 inches (5.0-7.6 cm) of NatureMade™ and work in to existing soil in your garden. For clay soil or low organic matter soil, apply 2-3 inches (5.0-7.6 cm), and mix very well with existing soil. Apply every 4 years.
Tree & Shrub –Apply 1-1.5 inches (2.5-3.75 cm) of NatureMade ™around trees from one foot away from trunk. A layer of 2 inches (5.0 cm) should be used for shrubs. Apply every 2 years
Mulching – Apply a layer of 2-3 inches (5.0-7.5 cm) on top of the
soil as an organic cover. Apply every 4 years.
Potting Plant – Use 1/3 by volume as part of the potting mix.

RootZone Landscape Blend
This unique blend combines our NatureMade Compost™ with mulch fines and/or peat moss & garden sand to form a ready-to-use soil free growing medium. RootZone Landscape Blend™ is a consistent soil that is workable in all weather conditions. It provides excellent water retention that is essential to plant growth. Because this product contains no native soil, it is virtually free of weed seed.
Use & Application
Apply 12”-18” (30-45 cm), or as needed in new or raised beds
Apply 6” – 8” (15-20 cm) underneath sod to establish a new lawn or to seed a lawn
A great soil for new and raised beds, flower gardens, shrub beds and vegetable gardens
Complete medium for all pots and containers
RootZone Landscape Blend reduces the amount of chemical fertilizing required in your garden
Compost provides additional soil structure, water retention and nutritional benefits

E-Peat
This product combines Sphagnum peat moss with our NatureCover Mulch Fines™ to provide excellent water retention that is essential for vegetable and flower gardens and lawn development. This product will also increase porosity and beneficial microbes to the existing soil. .

Work into existing or new raised beds, flower gardens, vegetable gardens and shrub beds to increase moisture retention
Mix into existing soil and use in potting containers
Use everywhere you like to use Peat
Premium Lawn Mix
This product combines our NatureMade Compost with topsoil and garden sand to form a superior growing medium for new lawn development. Premium Lawn Mix has good structural properties for root growth and drainage. It provides excellent water retention that is essential for lawn development.

Apply 6”-8” (15-20 cm) underneath sod to establish a new lawn

NatureCover Mulch Fines
This product is made of aged bark fines (~ < 2 mm). It provides a finished look to any garden or landscape project as well as adding porosity and beneficial microbes to the existing soil. The material can protect the soil from erosion, reduce compaction from the impact of heavy rains, and helps maintain an even soil temperature. It protects the soil surface, significantly reducing evaporation, therefore reducing the need for irrigation. NatureCover Mulch Amendment™ is also a great product to help keep weeds down
Use & Application
A layer of 3”-5” (7.5-12.5 cm) is recommended for a good effective covering. Apply annually.

NatureCover Bark Mulch
This all-purpose bark mulch offers excellent landscape enhancement. Available in 2 different sizes: Chip (1”-2”), and Nugget (3”-5”). NatureCover Bark Mulch provides excellent moisture retention. Other benefits include: protection of roots from mechanical injury, moderation of soil temperature, reduction of soil compaction, and increased soil fertility over the long term. This product is durable and is a great product for both residential and commercial customers.
Use & Application
A layer of 3”-5” (7.5-12.5 cm) is recommended for a good effective covering. Apply as needed.
