NatureMade Compost™ is an excellent source of organic matter blended from compost made on our composting site. This compost includes yard waste, wood chip and bio-solid mixes. It is a perfect material for applying to existing soil being rich in nutrients, weed-free and very workable. It also contains good levels of macro and micro nutrients; therefore it offers a host of advantages over peat moss. NatureMade Compost™ meets the federal government CCME standards as Category “A” compost, which can be used in any application.

RATES

General application is to mix 2”-3”(50mm-75mm) and worked in to existing soil. For clay soil or low organic matter soil, apply 2”-3”(50mm-75mm) mixing very well with existing soil. Topdress lawns with ¼ “– ½ “layer, and water well. . Apply 1”-2” (25mm-50mm) around trees and shrub. Use 25% - 40% compost by volume for container mix. Application rate will vary upon specific use.
